Nowadays it is faster to get to the centre of Ghent by bike than by car, so LOYD integrated a spacious bicycle shed in the new residence ‘Voorhaven’.

Lemahieu Wood Protection supplied ‘green impregnated pine’ to Tuinhout De Meyer for this purpose. The timber is preventively protected against wood-destroying fungi, soft rot and larvae of wood-destroying insects by impregnation under pressure.

In Ostend, we have four impregnation machines, approved by ATG and CTB-B+, that can treat up to 200m³ green, brown, or black timber every day.
