Fire-retardant ThermoWood® spruce
For the facade cladding, the architect chose ThermoWood® due to its acoustic damping properties. Additionally, Lemahieu Fire Protection® was engaged to ensure the ThermoWood® met strict fire safety requirements. By treating ThermoWood® spruce with Burnblock®, a fire retardant with 100% natural ingredients, the required fire reaction class was achieved.
